Barnabás Peák became national Elite champion in both the time trial and road disciplines at the age of only 20 years old. His performances opened doors to the World Tour, where he took his first footsteps as a trainee. In the following season, he won a stage in the Tour de Normandie by staying ahead of the peloton and he finished 15th in the final classification of the Tour de l’Avenir. In 2020 he won another national time trial title. A couple of months ago, in July, he showed his speed in a stage of the Coppi and Bartali week by finishing second behind Pascal Ackermann. In 2022, he took 2nd on the Ronde Van Drenthe.
