Intermarché-Wanty-Gobert Matériaux concluded the week of national championships with the best harvest in its history. After two time trial titles (Girmay, Taaramäe), a silver medal (Peák) and two bronze medals (Peák, van der Hoorn), the World Team was represented in the road race of eight different countries this Sunday.
The winner of the time trial on Friday, Biniam Girmay, participated to the battle for the Eritrean jersey in the road race through the streets of his native city Asmara. He had to take the responsibility of the chase behind the duo Kudus-Tesfatsion and after a long tie, the escapees managed to take the win.
