At the age of 20, Hugo Page wore the green points jersey in the sixth stage of the Criterium du Dauphiné this Friday. With strong regularity he finished three times in the top ten of flat finishes and just like since the beginning of the event, he benefited from the support of his teammates.
The breakaway resisted to the return of the peloton in this stage of nearly 200 kilometer which brought the riders to the Alps via the Col de Cabre. Behind the escapees, Hugo Page sprinted to seventh place in the peloton, obtaining thirteenth place in the stage. His teammate Louis Meintjes is 22nd in the provisional classification ahead of the decisive weekend with two stages of around 130 kilometer covering several mythical climbs.
